Setting up Cursor Claw
When the app launches for the first time, it will guide you through the setup process to enable the necessary permissions and configure the app for your needs. You can also change these settings later in the app settings.

Enable Accessibility API Permission
Section titled “Enable Accessibility API Permission”Cursor Claw requires Accessibility permissions to function properly. Please click “Grant Permissions” to open the Accessibility settings and enable the necessary permissions for Cursor Claw.
You can also use the “Check Permissions” button in the app settings later to verify your current permission status and learn more about how Cursor Claw uses Accessibility features.
Enabling Accessibility API Manually
If you need to enable permissions manually:
- Open System Preferences (or System Settings on newer macOS versions)
- Navigate to Privacy & Security → Accessibility
- Locate Cursor Claw in the list of applications
- Toggle the checkbox next to Cursor Claw to grant it permission
- You may need to click the lock icon in the bottom-left corner and enter your password to make changes

Set Up a Keyboard Shortcut
Section titled “Set Up a Keyboard Shortcut”Configure a keyboard shortcut to activate the claw machine.

Configure and Update Settings
Section titled “Configure and Update Settings”The app uses a configuration file to manage its settings. You can edit this file to customize your experience. Before using the app, you may want to at least select a layout that suits your needs.

Start the Claw Machine
Section titled “Start the Claw Machine”Once set up, you can start controling your mouse with keyboard. Simply press your activation shortcut to activate the Claw Machine.
You can move the mouse cursor, click, perform gestures, and at the end, exit by pressing the Esc key.
